Our Certifications

LMV S.p.A. has been operating in the structural steel sector for many years, building extensive expertise in quality control and compliance management.

The increasing demand for higher quality standards within the industry, together with progressively more stringent regulations, has led the company to continuously enhance its technical qualifications, expand its production inspection personnel — both internally and at subcontractor level — and further strengthen their level of training.

The company is certified for its Quality Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and for its welding processes in accordance with EN ISO 3834-2. It is also accredited as a Transformation Centre by the Italian Superior Council of Public Works.

Since 2013, LMV has certified its Factory Production Control in accordance with EN 1090, enabling CE marking of supplied structures as required by law from 1 July 2014.

LMV S.p.A. continuously carries out testing on base materials through laboratories holding appropriate ministerial authorisation, including tensile and impact testing down to -50°C, chemical analysis and hardness testing.

With regard to welding activities, daily inspections are carried out throughout every stage of the process.

Welding operations are performed by qualified welders and monitored both by internally certified Level 2 inspectors in accordance with ISO 9712 and by external specialised companies employing certified Level 3 inspectors.

The inspections carried out include visual testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing and volumetric examinations on full-penetration welds, such as ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing where required.

Within LMV S.p.A., a dedicated inspector is responsible for dimensional checks on manufactured components to ensure full compliance with the fabrication tolerances set out in EN 1090.

Where required, these inspection activities are also extended to construction sites under the direct control or supervision of LMV S.p.A. A dedicated site manager is always present to oversee, coordinate and monitor all erection phases.

All materials supplied by LMV S.p.A. are delivered with full material certification and all inspection documentation required at the order stage and in accordance with applicable regulations.
