LMSTEEL is an Independent Engineering Firm that offers high-quality services in the Civil Engineering sector, from executive design to site assistance.

The company was founded in 2013 by a group of professionals coming from diversified and complementary experiences in the Civil Engineering sector. Thanks to the consolidated technical background, it quickly became a valuable partner for general contractors and Architects who demand quality, timeliness and flexibility, together with full compliance with stringent regulations.

Since the first period of its establishment, LMSTEEL has found an important position in the design of the main Structural projects in Italy, participating in the executive stage of the Open Air Theater of EXPO2015 in Milan and of the metallic facades of the IKEA Mall shopping center in Brescia.

LMSTEEL has successfully completed multiple structural detailing projects for various clients in both the commercial and industrial sectors across Europa, Russian Federation and North America. A series of works of high architectural and structural content have subsequently consolidated the position of LMSTEEL in the field of Steel structures.

Thanks to the "BIM oriented" project development, LMSTEEL is able to take care of all the Design phases from the preliminary stage to the construction stage and Site assistance.

The Technical Department is based in Balerna (Tessin Region), on the Italian-Swiss border.

LMSteel used the following approach in the design study:
Starting with extensive analysis carried out on Customer’s Project preliminary ideas. Identification of the project site location and boundaries, limits imposed by the authorities and any other special requirement.In-depth study of the Project performance requirements is carried out, identifying preliminary technical solutions and specifications, type of material to be used and processes to be implemented. Alternative solutions, in order to perform costs vs. benefits comparisons, are also evaluated.
Study and further development of Customers’ specific requirements in order to elaborate concept design proposals. LMSteel provides the Customer with the basis for a comparative study and a solid decision making process.

Reviewing natural, geographic, and human neighbourhood of construction site.
Detailed design of all on-site temporary- and auxiliary structures, supplies, stores, etc.In order to carry out this approach to the project, LMSteel use to organize a tender coordination meeting between its specialist: their intent is focused to expose all the possible technical problems that the works present.
