The renovation and enlargement project of Milano Malpensa airport is part of the improvement operations plan of the main italian airport infrastructures.
In particular, this consists in a riqualification of the departures viaduct of Terminal 1 and the enlargement of shopping spaces, with the target of improving passengers experience and optimizing the terminal entrance flow.
Redevelopment of airportual infrastructures
The operation at Terminal 1 of Milano Malpensa airport is aimed at improving accessibility and functionality of departures area, through the redevelopment of the existing viaduct and the integration of new structures.
LMV has contributed completing different phases of the project:
- Design
- Supply
- Assembly of steel structures for entrance shelters
Forecasts estimated the usage of 260 tons of steel, in support of a functional and modern architectural solution
The project confirms LMV’s experience in the realization of metallic structures for airport infrastructures, contributing to the improvement of the passengers spaces’ performance and quality.
