Anti-Noise barriers Brennero highway

Isera | February 2019 | Completed

Project Overview

  • Site name: Antinoise curved barriers on Brennero highway
  • Location: Isera
  • Inizio lavori: February 2019
  • LMV scope: Working and assembly on site of metallic carpentry and accessory structures for the construction of anti-noise barriers

The project concerns the realization of anti-noise barriers along the south roadway on Brennero highway, in the Isera (TN) part, with the goal of reducing acoustic impact of the traffic on the population and the surrounding area.

The operation fits into the mobility infrastructural improvement operations, with special regards for environmental aspects and quality of life.

Infrastructures for environmental impact reduction

Anti-noise barriers represent an essential element in the environmental impact management of the great mobility infrastructures. In this project, LMV has contributed to the realization of a structural solution designed to guarantee acoustic effectiveness, durability and integration with the existing context.

The operation involved the processing and the installation of approximately 800 tons of metallic carpentry, used for sustaining sound-absorbing panels and guaranteeing structural stability even in environmental complex conditions.

The curved structures were designed to adapt to the roadway, improving effectiveness of the acoustic shielding and assuring, in the meantime, a harmonic integration with the landscape.
