The project involved the construction of a new building designed to house the TGP furnace and its associated Cooling Tower at the industrial site in Valenciennes, France.
The work formed part of a broader production facility expansion program and required multidisciplinary expertise in structural steelwork, building envelope systems, and industrial plant installations.
A Turnkey Industrial Building for the Production Process
LMV fabricated and installed approximately 120 tons of structural steel for a total surface area of 1,400 m², carrying out all the main structural and finishing works. In addition to the steel framework, the project included the installation of the sound-insulated cladding system, roofing, industrial doors, and all finishing elements required to deliver a fully operational building.
A significant part of the project involved the fabrication and on-site welding of the cooling circuit piping for the rolling mill furnace, ensuring seamless integration between the structural framework and the plant systems.
Thanks to its ability to manage structural, building, and mechanical installation works simultaneously, LMV delivered a complete turnkey solution, reinforcing its expertise in the construction of complex industrial buildings for manufacturing processes.
