The construction of the Auchan Shopping Centre in Luxembourg is one of the most significant urban development projects completed in the country in recent years.
Located in the new Gasperich district, just a few kilometres from the city centre, the complex was designed as a modern mixed-use hub integrating retail, residential areas, public services, and community spaces.
A New District for Living, Working, and Business
At the heart of the development is the new Auchan Shopping Centre, covering approximately 75,000 m² of retail space with more than 130 stores located throughout the shopping mall and hypermarket. The complex is one of the country’s leading retail destinations and a key element in the development of the new district.
LMV contributed to the project by designing and manufacturing approximately 3,400 tonnes of steel structures, consisting primarily of painted welded steel beams that were subsequently transported to the construction site for installation. The solutions developed ensured outstanding structural performance, construction precision, and execution times compatible with the complexity of the project.
