The project involved the rehabilitation and partial reconstruction of Bridge 112/3 in Corvara in Passiria, within the Municipality of Moso (Bolzano), Italy.
The intervention was aimed at restoring the bridge’s structural performance through the replacement and renewal of the steel bridge deck, ensuring greater safety, reliability and long-term durability of the structure.
Rehabilitation of a Bridge
The project included the fabrication and supply of the steel structures for the new bridge deck, assembled using bolted connections, complete with shear studs and fastening systems, and subsequently erected on site through welded joints. This construction solution combined prefabrication accuracy, rapid installation and structural reliability.
LMV World contributed to the project by providing the structural steelwork and supervising the erection activities carried out on site by LMV S.p.A., ensuring the correct assembly of the structures and full compliance with the project’s technical specifications.
The development of the shop fabrication drawings, carried out by INGECOM, made it possible to optimise the production of the steel components and effectively coordinate the subsequent installation phases, ensuring high quality standards throughout the entire construction process.
