LMV World took part in the major expansion programme of the Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. production plant, contributing to the project that doubled the size of the manufacturer’s production facility.
The intervention was carried out to support the company’s production growth through the construction of new spaces dedicated to vehicle assembly and finishing, within an industrial environment characterised by the highest quality and technological standards.
Structural Steelwork for the Expansion of a World-Class Manufacturing Plant
The project involved two key buildings within the Lamborghini production process: the new ZP7 Assembly Building, dedicated to the assembly line, and the ZP8 Finishing Building, designed for vehicle finishing operations.
For the ZP7 Assembly Building, LMV contributed to the expansion of the assembly line by supplying the structural steelwork integrated with an elevated reinforced concrete structure. The building also includes internal mezzanines, prefabricated roofing systems and an external envelope made of sandwich panels, polycarbonate elements and sectional doors, all designed to ensure operational efficiency and architectural quality.
The ZP8 Finishing Building was constructed using a composite reinforced concrete and steel frame structure distributed over three above-ground levels. In this case as well, the building envelope features sandwich panels, aluminium window systems and sectional doors, providing high levels of thermal insulation, functionality and overall performance.
