On 2 December was inaugurated by Russian President Vladimir Putin the midsection of the WHSD Highway (Western High Speed Diameter): 11.6 km kilometers of bridges built over the Gulf Finsky.
To complete this strategic work for the city of St. Petersburg, the LMV Group produced the lifting and launching equipement and performed the installation of 2 km of steel bridges on Krestovskiy Island- Savushkina way.
The Saint Petersburg ring road connected strategically the port by two highways: the Highway towards Finland on one side and the other side of Moscow Highway; it also connected the North and South of the city and eased traffic downtown.
